Poppy Patch Grass Tent Pitch
Strawfields is the perfect rural escape with a back-to-nature style of camping. The very small and welcoming campsite offers you a unique stay in a peaceful relaxed setting. The wooden shower block has hot showers, flushing loos and sinks with lovely views across the fields. The facilities are quirky and rustic with a natural feel. Perfect for solo travellers, couples and families. (Sorry no dogs allowed on the campsite).
Parking
We are a car free site and have carts available to transport your tents and camping gear to your pitch, it really isn’t far. All cars are parked in the campsite car park.
Café Barn
You can enjoy a fabulous locally-sourced breakfast Café Barn. On our pop-up pizza nights, you can make your own pizza and watch it cook in our wood-fired pizza oven.
Fire Pits
We believe camping is not the same without a campfire. We hire out fire pits and BBQ racks, and we sell logs and kindling to make your stay even more memorable.
Hot Showers and Flushing Toilets
The wooden shower block has lovely hot showers, flushing toilets and sinks to wash up with a view. There is a washing line and wetsuit drying rack.
Picnic table
Each of the large pitches come with their own picnic table, perfect for meals with friends and family. Unwind, relax and enjoy sitting around the campfire toasting marshmallows.
Electric Free Campsite
Back-to-nature, no gadgets, no music. Plenty of time to read a book and chat around the campfire. There are USB sockets available at the Café Barn for charging phones.
